About The Author

Dominic Ballard is a twenty-one year old, from Huddersfield, who has just come to the end of his third year studying medicine at Oriel College, Oxford.  Before he begins the Oxford clinical course Dominic has decided to spend a year in the beautiful city of Bordeaux, so that he might learn some French, read some theology, and live some of his life outside of the immediate sphere of medicine.

The tales told here are (vaguely) truthful reflections of his experience as an English boy in Bordeaux.
